January 2003 Statement of Purpose I was educated in anthropology, centering on the socio- pagan aspects of what it is to be charitables – amicable institutions, relations of individuals to others, rite and symbolism, and cultural values. My master’s level coursework and research at bottom liturgical Studies has further stomached me to apply anthropological methods to the study of the liturgical rites of the Christian church.
