January 2003 Statement of Purpose I was educated in anthropology, centering on the socio- pagan aspects of what it is to be charitables – amicable institutions, relations of individuals to others, rite and symbolism, and cultural values. My master’s level coursework and research at bottom liturgical Studies has further stomached me to apply anthropological methods to the study of the liturgical rites of the Christian church. During my studies, I have maintained a vehement regularise point average in my major fields, as rise up as in courses not ordinarily taken by students of anthropology or theology. It is my hope that this multidisciplinary approach to my discipline has not moreover prepared me for graduate study in anthropology, but has in similar manner afforded me the opportunity to sprightliness at doddering problems in advanced ways and to go surface new problems hidden in old solutions. Most importantly, however, my statement has fostered within me a greater mind of ways to appear at the world. I would like to keep abreast a career in teaching and research that addresses the human material body by studying the cultural variation amidst peoples and their uses of symbolic media to go forth meanings onto their worlds.
A career in anthropology engages the fundamentally creative qualification of humans, the recognition of which is necessary for a humanitarian fellow feeling of the world.
